GARDENA introduces new PowerMax lawnmowers for powerful mowing and collecting

Maintenance is what counts when it comes to getting a beautiful lawn. In addition to seasonal tasks such as scarifying and fertilising, the lawn must be mowed regularly during the summer months. This is the only way to achieve a lush green and dense lawn that resembles a green carpet.

From the 2023 season onwards, passionate gardeners will achieve optimum results on the lawn with three new GARDENA Battery Lawnmowers. The PowerMax 30/18V P4A is suitable for lawns up to 150 square metres. For larger areas, the PowerMax 32/18V P4A is available for up to 200 square metres and the PowerMax 37/36V P4A with twice the battery power for up to 350 square metres.

18 volt battery – it’s a system

All three models are powered by the POWER FOR ALL  Alliance ¹ 18 volt system battery. This fits into a wide range of other gardening tools from GARDENA, but can also be used across brands with other numerous products from the alliance around the home and garden. This is not only good for the environment, but also cuts costs and saves space, meaning that incompatible batteries and chargers are a thing of the past.

Hobby gardeners who prefer a corded mower to a cordless version will also find two new PowerMax mowers in the GARDENA range. Their high-torque gear drive comes courtesy of a powerful 1200 watt or 1800 watt motor. With a cutting width of 32 or 37 centimetres they are impressive performers when mowing small and medium-sized lawns.

Impressive cutting and collecting

Whether battery or electric, PowerMax lawnmowers leave excellent cutting results thanks to their double-hardened blades with precision grinding. Mowing along edges or walls is not a problem either thanks to lawn combs on the sides of the mower. This means that these areas can be mowed in a single pass without the need for a lot of reworking.

The Cut and Collect system also makes the mowers particularly effective. Due to improved air circulation more grass cuttings get into the collection bag. It has to be emptied less frequently, which in turn means fewer interruptions when mowing. Additionally, thanks to QuickFit Plus, the cutting height of most models can be easily adjusted centrally at the touch of a button.

Mowing the lawn is especially comfortable thanks to the ergonomically shaped handles which allow the mower to be used in a natural hand position. They also offer flexible operation as the mower can be operated in different grip positions and even with just one hand. Height-adjustable handles allow the lawnmowers to be optimally adapted to body size.                      ■
