March

Hello Spring! Early March is a great time to start planting Summer flowering bulbs. Try GARDENA’s Bypass Secateurs to prune roses and encourage new growth for a gorgeous summer bloom. Use GARDENA’s Natureline hoe to remove any weeds in the flower beds before mulching.

April

As your lawn leaps back to life invest in GARDENA’S SILENO city robotic lawnmower, which will cover areas up to 250m2. This robotic mower works on a mulching principle, taking a fine layer of grass from the top of the lawn, putting it back into the soil acting as a natural fertiliser.

May

As the temperature rises it’s important to keep your garden well hydrated, GARDENA’s range of AquaZoom Sprinklers make watering easy. Suitable for a range of lawn sizes, the AquaZoom Sprinklers are made from quality robust metal and plastic components for extra durability, while the oscillating mechanism guarantees puddle-free watering. It’s also the perfect time to tie back your roses and sweet peas to encourage and guide growth.

June

Keep your plants beautiful and healthy with GARDENA’S Micro-Drip-System, it’s quick and easy to assemble while saving up to 70% water consumption when compared to traditional irrigation methods. Combine your Micro-Drip System with a GARDENA water control and sit back, relax, knowing your garden is being taken care of.

July

July’s a busy month for gardeners, don’t forget to deadhead bedding plants and repeat-flowering perennials to ensure they bloom all Summer long.  Keep flower beds well-watered with the GARDENA Textile Hose Liano - the extremely tough yet lightweight, kink-free hose comes with a 30-year warranty so you can guarantee it’ll be by your side season after season.

August

Whether you’re on a staycation or jetting off to warmer climates how do you keep your plants blooming while you’re away? The GARDENA AquaBloom will take care of your plants no matter where you are. Using solar power and a water reservoir (such as a water butt or bucket), the GARDENA AquaBloom acts as an independent water pump which hooks up to a MicroDrip system to water up to 20 potted plants.

September

It’s still important to keep your garden hydrated in the late Summer months and to look after your lawn - raise the height of your mower blades as grass growth slows down. Keep your lawn healthy with a sprinkling of autumn fertiliser using GARDENA’S Hand Spreader.

October

The time for an autumn harvest, use GARDENA’s combisystem Fruit Collector to collect fallen apples, pears and nuts. Make raking leaves easier than ever with the GARDENA combisystem Fan rake. Simply rake up the area, then split the rake to create two large claws for gathering the leaves. It’s also a great time to feed the birds as they prepare for winter.

November

As the temperatures continue to drop, you can start preparing your garden for next Spring by planting tulip bulbs and pruning rose bushes to prevent wind rock. Looking for an easy way to remove leaves from your pond? The GARDENA Shovel Rake is the perfect tool for raking, shovelling and sieving leaves from the lawn or pond.

December

As we look forward to Christmas and the promise of a new season, December is also the perfect time to harvest leeks, parsnips, winter cabbage and sprouts – just in time for Christmas dinner. With over 80 tool attachments the GARDENA combisystem is the perfect space-saving solution for every type of gardening task, and with a 25-year warranty you can guarantee they are built to last.
