Those who prefer not to climb on shaky ladders can work safely from the ground in treetops with the new StarCut Pro tree and pruning loppers from GARDENA. The innovative PowerCoating on the blades and the possibility of combining other products with the StarCut Pro make this tool a real all-rounder.

The new GARDENA StarCut Pro allows shrubs as well as small to large trees to be thinned and cut at a height of up to six and a half metres while standing safely on the ground.

2x telescopic and well-balanced

The StarCut Pro L is 2x telescopic for tree maintenance. Depending on the heights at which the work is carried out, the length can be readjusted from the ground, as the upper and then lower parts of the rod are extended – whilst the cutting head can remain in the tree branch. This allows the range for small, medium and large trees to be individually adjusted and unnecessary work to be avoided. The balanced distribution of the weight allows comfortable and fatigue-free work even in higher treetops and when working for long periods. The StarCut Pro can be comfortably supported on the body using the T-handle at the bottom of the device. This also provides better grip for cutting. The practical pulling strap runs on the inside and therefore cannot get tangled in the branches.

Strong cutting

A gear-assisted transmission, which transfers the force superbly, delivers great cutting power. It is protected in the sheathed cutting head and therefore cannot become dirty or get caught in the branches. The narrow cutting head can be conveniently adjusted at an angle to remove branches up to a diameter of 32 millimetres with ease. The integrated hook for removing cut-off branches enables them to be pulled out in a single operation. The new StarCut Pro is also ideal for thinning out climbing roses. The cutting head blades are interchangeable and can be easily changed without the need for special tools; this also extends the life span of the reliable tool.

The special PowerCoating ensures smoother and sharper blades than previous models. This makes it even easier for the cutting edges to slide through the plant tissue and the plant wounds heal better. In addition, the sharp blades reduce the effort required for every cut. The smooth coating makes it easier to remove resin and other residues from the blade.

The new GARDENA StarCut Pro is available as an L and a shorter S variant. The StarCut Pro L is telescopic and is only 1.75 metres long. This provides additional flexibility for easy transport and space-saving storage.

Cleverly combined: more than just tree and shrub shears

The GARDENA StarCut Pro is more than just a tree and pruning lopper. Thanks to the newly developed adapter, it can now also be combined with other attachments from the GARDENA combisystem such as the fruit picker, berry picker, angle broom, gutter cleaner and the 300 PP gardeners’ saw. The StarCut Pro saw is part of the StarCut Pro set, but can also be used as a single saw.

The various StarCut Pro models are manufactured in Germany and bear the "Made in Germany” mark. After registration, GARDENA grants a warranty of 25 years for the StarCut Pro¹.
