Collecting leaves is convenient with the new PowerJet Collect 18V P4A Battery Blower Vacuum from GARDENA. Its 360 degree wheel makes it particularly manoeuvrable in use. The leaves are sucked in immediately by the powerful fan wheel and reduced by the integrated shredding blade – both made of robust metal.
Fallen leaves, grass cuttings or dirt are simply blown together and then sucked up. In autumn, a vast number of leaves fall to the ground, transforming the landscape into a colourful sea of foliage. However, sometimes they can't stay where they fall and can make driveways and pavements dangerously slippery when wet. Leaves should also be removed from the lawn so as not to deprive the grasses of air and light for healthy growth.

Blow, vacuum, shred and collect leaves
The powerful blower vacuum delivers a suction power of 171 litres per second and a blowing power of 350 kilometers per hour. This means that even wet leaves are removed quickly and thoroughly from the ground. By simply moving a lever, you can switch between suction mode and blowing function quickly and without the need for additional tools. The collected leaves are shredded by an internal shredding blade located on the fan wheel and therefore only take up a tenth of their original volume. This means that considerably more leaves fit into the collection bag and need to be emptied less frequently during work. The metal fan wheel is accessible via a flap on the side and can be cleaned easily. Blockages may occur, but these can be easily and quickly removed, allowing work to continue with minimal interruptions.
Manoeuvrable and lightweight to use
The new GARDENA PowerJet Collect 18V P4A has a 360 degree wheel that supports the pipe when collecting leaves and enables movement in all directions. The wheel is height-adjustable in three stages, depending on the height of the user for a more comfortable and ergonomic working position. As an option, the blower vacuum can also be carried and guided using a shoulder strap.
The speed control setting on the blower vacuum adjusts the airflow intensity. It can be switched between a gentle air flow for collecting leaves on gravel paths without sucking in stones and powerful performance for larger, heavy or wet debris. The battery charge level can be seen on the LED display located on the handle.
The power is supplied by the 18V system battery from the Power for All Alliance1. These batteries fit into a variety of other GARDENA garden tools, but can also be used across all brands of the alliance in more than 100 products for more than 100 different applications in the home and garden.
The robust collection bag is made from two types of material, both breathable and waterproof. While wet leaves are sucked in, the outside remains dry and leaves no marks on clothing or surfaces. The bag can be removed for emptying and the extra-large opening with zip also makes this process easier. The shredded leaves can then either be disposed of in the compost, where they quickly decompose, or used as a protective mulch layer on flower beds.
