The new GARDENA Battery Lawnmower PowerMax Duo 46/36V P4A works with the new DuoBlade cutting technology. It masters lawns of up to 600 square metres with two special blades rotating synchronously against each other.
For many amateur gardeners, the lawn is the centrepiece of their garden. To keep it dense and healthy, regular lawn cutting is recommended. This makes the grass grow thicker and makes the lawn more resilient. The new Battery Lawnmower PowerMax Duo 46/36V P4A from GARDENA works with the new DuoBlade cutting technology. Lawns are cut effectively due to two special blades that rotate synchronised against each other and is fed into the grass collector by a stream of air.
GARDENA offers a suitable model for every lawn size and, with the new PowerMax Duo 46/36V P4A, now also offers a battery-powered lawnmower for larger lawns. With a cutting width of 46 centimetres, it is ideal for lawns of up to 600 square metres.
DuoBlade – two cutting blades working together
The new GARDENA PowerMax Duo works with the DuoBlade cutting technology. The grass is cut with two special blades that rotate synchronised against each other, achieving cutting more lawn on a single battery charge compared to conventional GARDENA battery lawnmowers.
The special shape of the blades in relation to each other creates a high airflow which results in effective collection performance. This improved air circulation means grass clippings fill the whole capacity of the grass collector, leading to a less frequent emptying.
If more cutting power is needed for a short time for very tall or dense grass, the blade speed can be increased at any time during cutting using the PowerBoost button on the handle. Thanks to QuickFit Plus, the cutting height can also be adjusted quickly and easily at the touch of a button.
Manoeuvrable and compact
The compact and balanced design makes it easier to turn and manoeuvre the battery lawnmower, even in confined areas. The edging combs on the sides of the housing help to pull in the blades of grass, making it easier to mow along edges and walls. This means that these areas can be maintained in a single mowing pass without time-consuming reworking. Large rear wheels also ensure greater stability and control when moving and turning.
The handles are adjustable in height and can be customised to suit the user. The comfort handle is positioned so that the GARDENA PowerMax Duo 46/36V P4A can be pushed across the lawn without strain on the joints, even when mowing for long periods. The LED charging level indicator is located on the handle and can be used to check the remaining battery charge at any time. The full grass catcher indicator lets you know when the grass box needs to be emptied.
With the PowerMax Duo 46/36V P4A, the handlebar can be released at the touch of a button and folded down flat so the mower can stand upright to save space when storing the mower in the garage or shed. The practical carrying handle makes it easy to transport the mower short distances.
The power is supplied by two 18 V system batteries from the Power for All Alliance1. These batteries fit into a variety of other GARDENA garden tools, but can also be used across all brands of the alliance in more than 100 products for more than 100 different applications in the home and garden.
