With the new GARDENA combisystem Berry Picker, harvesting delicate berries is a breeze. Thanks to its adjustable plastic teeth, it can also be used for stone fruit.
The GARDENA combisystem offers property owners suitable and reliable tools to help with all of the diverse tasks that need to be tackled in the garden throughout the year. Gardeners have relied on these durable tools for more than 40 years. Now new ones are joining them.
The current trend in gardening is to grow your own fruit. Whether it's a classic like the apple tree or soft fruit-bearing shrubs, they all bring joy to young and old alike — and are healthy to boot. However, harvesting berries can be quite difficult if, for example, thorns are involved. It is always time-consuming, as all the fruits have to be picked individually with the necessary care so that none are crushed.
Versatile and faster than everGARDENA now has the clever solution for this with the
combisystem Berry Picker which is made from more than 90 percent recycled plastic. It allows many of the delicate fruits to be grasped at the same time and gently pulled off the stem without being crushed. The plastic teeth ensure that they are picked off and then end up in the collecting basket.
The rotatable attachment makes it easy to vary the size of the spaces between the plastic teeth, so the Berry Picker can be used for quick and gentle harvesting of berries, but also larger stone fruit. Currants, gooseberries, blueberries or blackberries can be picked in no time. As the Berry Picker can be used with the practical handle or a combisystem handle, it is also suitable for harvesting plums, cherries or mirabelles directly from the tree.
Another new attachment is the
combisystem Branch Hook. The narrow “S”-shaped curved hook is used to shake down ripe apples and pears, to support branches during harvesting or to free branches from snow load in winter. During maintenance work, it is useful for pulling out branches that have been cut out of the tree. In combination with a combisystem handle, it is flexible in use and working height. Once plugged in and screwed tight, it guarantees a sturdy connection for safe use.
Everything has its placeWhen all the gardening or property maintenance tasks are done or the planting work is finished, tools should be stored in a space-saving way and be ready to hand for the next use.
With the new
Tool Rack Flex and the
Tool Rack Plus this is now possible, more flexibly than ever before. The
Tool Rack Flex should be mounted horizontally on the wall. It offers space for one-piece gardening tools, combisystem tools and watering accessories from the Original GARDENA System. It is equipped with two single tool holders that can be flexibly aligned to the right or left, depending on the tool and space requirements. Two handle holders provide space for additional gardening tools. A spade, for example, can be conveniently attached to a universal hook.
The recesses on the sides provide storage options for combisystem handles that can be hooked in using the locking screw.
The
Tool Rack Plus is made of aluminium and therefore offers greater stability. It has a load capacity of up to 60 kilograms and is therefore also suitable for heavier implements. Three single holders provide space for spades or spade forks or implements from the combisystem and the Original GARDENA System. The universal hook with ball joint is suitable for larger implements such as trimmers or hedge clippers.
Both models are made with recycled plastic and can be individually extended with additional tool holders, handle holders and hooks as required. In future, every gardening tool will have its place and can no longer fall over, making tripping hazards in the garage and garden shed a thing of the past.
As with all combisystem products, GARDENA also grants a 25-year warranty on the new attachments and the Tool Rack Flex, as well as on the Tool Rack Plus.
