Not only are the GARDENA SILENO Robotic Lawnmowers developed with the help of 20 years of experience in the field of robotic lawnmowers, the company is also continuously developing the range further with innovative features. This ensures that your lawn care is as easy and effortless as possible.
Rain is no problem for the GARDENA Robotic Lawnmowers. SILENO city and SILENO life can even be easily cleaned using your garden hose. So they can be used to mow the lawn whatever the weather. The robotic lawnmowers adjust their mowing times automatically in accordance with the lawn growth. The 2020 software upgrade even allows the robotic lawnmowers to detect sub-zero temperatures: This means that as soon as the outside temperatures approach freezing, the schedule of the robotic lawnmower is suspended. This protects the lawn, as mowing the blades of grass when they are frozen damages them. These functions can also be controlled using the free GARDENA smart App.
The SILENO Robotic Lawnmower is now even better at handling gradients: All devices can handle a gradient of up to 35 percent — and mow the lawn just as carefully as on a level surface. Even difficult or narrow passages are no problem for SILENO city and SILENO life thanks to the CorridorCut function. And the Spot Cutting function is perfect for areas that are mowed less frequently, such as under a trampoline: When using this function, the GARDENA Robotic Lawnmower works in a spiral shape to cut individual areas of the lawn with higher grass.
At the beginning of 2020, just in time for the start of the new season, GARDENA will release a comprehensive software update with the new functions: All owners and purchasers of a GARDENA SILENO city and SILENO life Robotic Lawnmower can download the complete package with the new features free of charge from the GARDENA website — and then update their SILENO Robotic Lawnmower. All new devices are already up to date.
In the 2020 garden season, another SILENO+ will be launched. The robotic lawnmower rounds off the high-end of the GARDENA range, because the model is capable of mowing lawns of up to 2,000 square metres. A smart version of the new SILENO+ is also available. It can be easily and safely controlled with your fingertips via the GARDENA smart App.
