Plant identification made easy

Yarrow or hemlock? Ranunculus or rose? It is hard to distinguish between some plants and flowers with absolute certainty. And most garden owners are not experts. So what happens when there seems to be no way of identifying a particular plant? Plant enthusiasts can now use the new photo function of the Gardena smart app for help. All users have to do is upload between one and five photos and the app will show them the best matches right away. It could not be easier. Gardeners can confidently identify their plants and access additional information on how to take care of them.

Garden owners can also use the Gardena smart app to monitor and control their automatic irrigation system and robotic mower remotely from anywhere. As an added bonus, Gardena customers are also given free access to an extensive plant database containing more than 4,500 entries with relevant gardening tips. Gardeners can find out all the details relating to a specific plant, including its ideal soil type and how much light and water it needs.
