Branches can be cut cleanly and quickly chopped up using battery power. The new Battery Chainsaw PowerSaw 250/18V P4A from GARDENA with a brushless motor and a high-quality 25 centimetre guide bar is easy to handle at a wide range of working angles and has a powerful cut.
Compact and powerful
Wood can be chopped up quickly and effortlessly with this new battery chainsaw. With a single battery charge, it can perform up to 180 cuts on wood with a diameter of 70 millimetres without interruption. The brushless, low-maintenance motor is particularly powerful. The 25 centimetre bar on the GARDENA cordless chainsaw is the ideal length for limbing and chopping up wood.
Thanks to the chain speed of eight metres per second, the branches are cut off smoothly and cleanly. The Oregon chain and bar are high-quality and durable.
The chain does not need to be lubricated manually, as the chain lubrication is carried out automatically by the integrated oil tank, meaning the chain always glides smoothly over the bar. This enables continuous, fast working. The chain tension can be adjusted and readjusted without tools using a rotary knob. The power level of the battery is continuously displayed by an LED indicator on the handle.
Safe to handle at various cutting angles
With a cordless chainsaw, the focus should not just be on performance, battery life and good handling. Another important aspect is the safety level required when working with a chainsaw. With the metal claw stopper, the saw blade can be fixed to the wood or branch with no risk of slipping. During sawing, the chain brake and chain catcher guarantee the required level of safety. The chain brake stops the chain in the event of kickback, which can occur, for example, due to a poor cutting angle into the wood. If the chain breaks, the integrated stable metal chain catcher catches it.
The power is supplied by an 18 V system battery from the Power for All Alliance1. It fits into a variety of other GARDENA gardening tools, but can also be used across brands in more than 100 products for more than 100 different home and garden applications within the Alliance.
After registration, GARDENA grants a warranty of three years for the Battery Chainsaw PowerSaw 250/18V P4A2.
